Dr Lee Chee Wan is a senior consultant cardiologist in Singapore and the Medical Director of Cardiac Centre International at Mount Elizabeth Orchard.
He is one of the few cardiologists in Singapore holding both a medical degree and a PhD in cardiovascular research. Dr Lee specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions including heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension and high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia).
As a cardiac electrophysiologist, he performs advanced procedures such as catheter ablation, pacemaker (transvenous conduction system pacing and leadless) and defibrillator (transvenous and full subcutaneous) implantation, loop recorder insertion and coronary angiograms/angioplasty, alongside heart screening, preventive cardiology and the long-term management of cardiovascular disease.
